Students have to work on the extension question from the KWC. They have some figures and are trying to work out the mass of a concrete slab using values for it’s store of gravitational potential energy, gravity and height.

Students will tell you that this is a grapple, so they just need to give it a go, write down their thinking in words and/or equations. It is not important that they get the correct answer but that they give it a go.

We will go over possible approaches to solutions tomorrow. So students need to be prepared to talk about what they tried to do.
