PE and Extracurricular Activities at Trinity

8th January 2016

A reminder to all parents and students that students must bring appropriate kit for PE sessions. To reiterate; it is essential for health and safety that students arrive with correct clothing, footwear and protective equipment to take part in sessions. Students who do not bring the correct kit wil be unable to take part in sessions. This is also very important for sessions with Doncaster Rovers who are unable to coach students who do not have correct kit.

For X Block sessions students must have sports shoes, shorts, t-shirt, warm top.

For sessions with Doncaster Rovers, students must have: Football boots (must be moulded studs or plastic blades, metal studs are not allowed on the astroturf surface) or astroturf shoe, shin pads, football socks, shorts, t-shirt, warm top.

Unfortunately, there was still a significant number of students from both year 7 and 8 who did not bring appropriate kit last friday which affected their participation.

If there are any issues or concerns regarding kit, please do not hesitate to get in touch and please do so in good time so that any problems can be resolved before the sessions themselves.

Thank you again for your support in this matter.

Best wishes.

Skipper Homework: Due Monday 30th June

By 25th June 2015

Skipper must complete the five energy story problems provided. Students have received the questions on paper to write up neatly into maths books. Students should use the back of their books to try out rough ideas (rough does not mean messy), and copy final neat work into the front of books.
As with the story problem/KWC completed at school today, students should think back to the problem solving attitudes and step by step problem solving protocol before attempting each question. Students ‘get smart’ by using the KWC problem solving protocol also. This will help to work through each question logically.
This is an assessed piece of work and MUST be completed as the marks will go towards final grades.

If there are any questions, please email Mr V or post into Google Classroom.

Skipper Homework: Complete write up of elastic band experiment. Due Monday 15th

By 13th June 2015

Skipper did an experiment based on energy transfer in elastic bands. Students should complete the write up for this in their STEM books if they have not completed it in class.

Detailed information on what to write for each section can be found on Google Classroom. Students should refer to this before completing the work to ensure they cover everything they need to.
