We have structured our calendar to essentially have Five Terms of Eight weeks, with Two week holidays in-between, with Four weeks in Summer.

This provides a more consistent calendar throughout the week, creates substantial breaks to recharge, and will make learning progression more consistent all year round.

We have been mindful of parents with more than one child at different schools by adjusting our holidays slightly to coincide with the LA calendar at half terms.

We have also structured our staff days at roughly half-terms and on a Friday and following Monday to create long weekend holiday opportunities for families.

Mindful of the issues our calendar might cause, we will work with the affected parents to facilitate at-cost child care if needed.
